The effect of the internet revolution on the tourism investment industry of Nicaragua has been tremendous. All these factors have made it easier for retirees, investors and business people to live and work from the beach.

New applications of the internet are also making living in Nicaragua more comfortable. Innovative internet based technologies, like Voice Over IP allow expats the use of local US phone lines while in Nicaragua, helping you stay in contact with friends, family and business associates back home. Internet television is also rapidly improving making it possible to view your favorite sporting events through the internet in your vacation home.
