ice President Visits San Juan del Sur - December 2006
Two long time friends shook hands this Saturday in San Juan del Sur’s new municipal hall to commemorate a new government that will take office in Nicaragua as of January 10, 2006. Jaime Morales the Vice president elect and Eduardo Holmann, mayor of San Juan del Sur chaired a meeting before heads of developments, local government and business owners and realtors from throughout the Pacific.
The message from the VP elect was clear and optimistic when speaking of foreign direct investment. Morales stressed that his new government is well aware of the opportunities surrounding tourism and FDI in a global economy. The VP elect reiterated the new governments' respect for private property and a renewed commitment to tourism and real estate development in Nicaragua.
