San Juan del Sur is preparing for the coming of Semana Santa where the population of Nicaragua's favorite beach town explodes.

There are new streetlamps on the northern side of the bay and work continues on other civic improvements. The road from the Pan-American highway into San Juan del Sur is being resurfaced and scheduled to finish in September. The main street that passes by the cathedral and newly remodeled park has been completed and work on the Boardwalk continues.
