Whether you are visiting on vacation or in search of real estate in Nicaragua, everyone has to eat. We, here at Aurora Beachfront Realty, have compiled a list of the best food available in San Juan del Sur. Here is the second part of this list:

El Colibri
El Colibri san juan del sur
Mediterranean based cuisine in a colorful garden setting offering diverse menu options and weekly specials such as steaks, soups, chicken kabobs, fish dishes, as well as great sangria. Open Wednesday thru Sunday, 6pm until 10pm. Located behind the cathedral.

El Gato Negro
Gato negro cafe san juan del sur
Best place in town to grab a bagel.  Coffee shop, café, and book store serving organic coffee, espresso, bagels, sandwiches, crepes, pastries, fresh juices, and daily specials.  Open daily from 7:30am to 3pm. Located on the main road into town. 1.5 blocks east of El Timon.

El Rinconcito Mexicano
restaurant Rincon Mexicano san juan del sur
Just above the basketball court you will find this small mexican place that offers some of the best grub in town.  The taco familiar serves 8 people for the price of two with enough chicken, beef, pork, peppers, onions, and cheese to fill up the whole family.  The house specialty is chilaquiles and you’ll know why after you try them!  Open for lunch around noon, kitchen closes at 9pm.

The market
san juan del sur maeket
This is the most economical place to eat in San Juan del Sur. Breakfast starts at around $2 and lunch for about $4. There are several different vendors inside the market and they are always eager to serve up a hot plate of food in minutes.

Mauricio’s Pizzeria

Serving some of the best authentic homemade Italian pizza in town and also offering fresh pasta, meats, fish, and salad.  Dinner only. Located just west of the park.
